Get RED-dy for the holidays
While the neighbors are setting up their inflatable Santas and designing light displays that can be seen from space, we are getting RED-dy for the holidays with a much simpler approach: the color red.
Whether it’s holly berries, ribbon, or tablecloths, using various shades of red throughout your space can make your home look festive and jolly without raising your electricity bill or blinding your neighbors. Here are some ideas to get you started!
Spruce up your spruce with a festive tree skirt

Often we spend most of our decorating efforts on what goes on the tree, but this year, try thinking a bit more about what goes under it.
Design an elegant table setting

Sometimes simpler is better, and it definitely works for this candle centerpiece. Bring this look into your space with only a cake plate, some white candles, and a string of berries.
Bring in the flavors of the holidays

With a spool of ribbon and a box of candy canes, you can perfectly accent your mantle, tree, or window. Be creative with how you bring this fun red element into your space!
And the smells!

Just imagine how elements like cinnamon and holly berries could spice up your holiday dinner party. This unique idea brings together the sights, smells, and tastes of the most wonderful time of the year.
Simplify, simplify, simplify

There’s no need to add crazy accents to your Christmas cocktail. Just a sprig of pine and some bold berries make a perfect pair for any drink you serve up for friends and family.
Try something different

If you’re a little less conventional, try this modern look. Clean lines and bold pops of red are sure to have your guests talking.
Bring in natural elements

If green is more your style than red, consider adding some rosy accents to your pine cones and cinnamon sticks. Your table will look amazing and smell wonderful, too!
Keep it clean and simple

Red can sometimes be a bit over-powering, but when kept in moderation and complemented with simple whites and greens, the richness of the color really stands out.
With some of these ideas, you’ll be RED-dy to make your home merry and bright for the holidays!
